Cloudflare Mesh Launches: Private, Post-Quantum Networking for All Your Devices

Cloudflare has just announced the general availability of Cloudflare Mesh—a new way to connect your servers, laptops, and phones with private, post-quantum encrypted networking. With Mesh, you can route traffic securely between any enrolled device or service, all managed through Cloudflare’s global network.

What is Cloudflare Mesh?

Cloudflare Mesh assigns a private Mesh IP to every device and node you enroll. This means any participant can reach any other by IP—client-to-client, server-to-server, or any combination—without deploying extra infrastructure. Mesh supports TCP, UDP, and ICMP traffic, making it flexible for a wide range of use cases.

Key Features

• Private, post-quantum encrypted networking for all traffic between devices
• Mesh IPs for every device and node
• Peer-to-peer connectivity (now called Mesh connectivity)
• Subnet routing with CIDR routes through Mesh nodes
• High availability with active-passive replicas for nodes
• 50 mesh nodes per account (up from 10)
• Centralized dashboard for network mapping, node management, route configuration, diagnostics, and setup
• All traffic flows through Cloudflare, so you get Gateway network policies, device posture checks, and access rules on every connection

Migration and Dashboard

• The former WARP Connector is now called Cloudflare Mesh. Existing deployments continue to work—no migration required.
• The new dashboard experience is available under Networking > Mesh in the Cloudflare dashboard, featuring an interactive network map and setup wizard.
